Services provided for your child
Using a FLOORTIME RELATIONSHIP MODEL, I will evaluate and develop a treatment plan specific to foster your child’s successful development. I will attune to your child for a joyful experience to play ADL and real life adventures.
Some of the areas I will look to improve are but not limited to:
- Enhanced social emotional development
- Delayed gross motor skill development: low muscle tone or muscle strength, decreased balance and coordination
- Motor planning: helping the “clumsy” child to achieve age appropriate goals
- Sensory registration: helping the child who is hypersensitive or hyposensitive to various sensory systems
- Collaborating self-regulation skills and managing meltdowns
- Teaching basic sport skills in baseball, soccer, basketball, hockey and tennis
- Manipulation of tools such as pencils/crayons, scissors, fork/spoon
- Pre-writing skills such as shapes, draw a person and other figures
- Activities of Daily Living include self-care (hygiene, grooming and dressing)
- Visual problems include ocular tracking, perceptual, and/or eye-hand coordination
- Feeding skills: helping the “picky eater” eat more variety and self-feeding
- Taking The Training Wheels Off – a quick & easy bicycle riding program for 5-40 year olds with a 100% success rate
